SPIRITUAL WARFARE: OPERATION STAND YOUR GROUND
Ephesians 6:11-13. Put on the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm.
I Pet. 5:8. Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walks about, seeking whom he may devour.
Ephesians 4:27. Neither give no place to the devil (give no opportunity).
II Cor. 2:11. Lest satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.
Prov. 24:10. If you faint in the day of adversity, your strength is small.

SPIRITUAL WARFARE: A CRY FOR VENGEANCE
What is vengeance? Punishment inflicted or retribution exacted for an injury or wrong (A Revenge, Retaliation, Payback).
Who is to avenge? Vengeance belong to the Lord
Deut. 32:35 says, “Vengeance is Mine, and recompense; their foot shall slip in due time; for the day of their calamity is at hand, and the things to come hasten upon them.”
Rom. 12: 17-19 says, “Repay no evil for evil. Have regard for good things in the sight of all men. If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men. Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, ‘Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,’ says the Lord.”
2Thess. 1:6 says, “Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you.”
1Sam. 24:12 says, “The Lord judge between me and thee, and the Lord avenge me of thee: but mine hand shall not be upon thee.”
Psalm 94:1 says, “O Lord God, to whom vengeance belongs; O God, to whom vengeance belongs, show thyself.”
Why God’s vengeance? To appease God’s wrath, to stop wickedness, & for joy of the righteous.
Eccles. 39:28-29 says, “There are spirits that are created for vengeance, which in their fury lay on sore strokes; in the time of destruction they pour out their force, and appease the wrath of Him that made them. Fire, hail, famine, and death, all these were created for vengeance. ”
Eccles. 47:25 says, “For they sought out all wickedness, till the vengeance came upon them.”
Psalms 58:10 say, “The righteous shall rejoice when he sees the vengeance: he shall wash his feet in the blood of the wicked.” Isa. 9:5 says, “For every battle of the warrior is with confused noise, and garments rolled in blood, but this shall be with burning and fuel of fire.”
Isaiah 35:4 says, “Say to them that are of a fearful heart, be strong, fear not behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompense, he will come and save you.”
Wrong notion about vengeance: Acts 28:4 says, “And when the barbarians saw the venomous beast hang on his hand, they said among themselves, no doubt this man is a murderer, whom, though he had escaped the sea, yet vengeance suffers not to live.”
Criteria for vengeance: Isaiah 59:17 says, “For He put on righteousness as a breastplate, and a helmet of salvation upon His head; and He put on the garments of vengeance for clothing, and was clad with zeal as a cloak” (A cloak symbolizes a sign of protection from harm).
