The Product of Destiny
“Now the Word of the Lord came to me, saying, before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet to the nations” (Jeremiah 1:4-5).
What is destiny? Destiny is the good plans God has for His children that will eventually shape their fate for the future. Everyone has a destiny to fulfill, but not everyone fulfils their destiny. Destiny can be delayed or complicated before grasp. There is no competition in destiny, because it is specifically purposed for one’s life.
There are destiny helpers as well as destiny killers.
Beware of destiny killers—Examples: Nehemiah encounter with Sanballat and Tobias (Nehemiah 6:1-9). Isaac encounter with the Philistines of Gerar (Genesis 26: 1-33). Devil against mankind (Zechariah 3:1-4).
Be mindful of destiny helpers—Example: Joseph experience with the Butler (Genesis 40:14, 23). Naaman experience with the Maid of his house (II Kings 5:1-3). Jesus Christ redeeming mankind (Mark 15: 14-30). The Lord Jesus is our ultimate destiny helper, in Him destinies are shaped
